Roger Schimmel, broker/owner of Century 21 Aruba, was born and raised in the Netherlands. After finishing his studies and working there for a few years, he moved to Aruba at a young age. He has a legal background and has worked in the financial industry for over 25 years. A professional known for his extensive international and national experience in real estate development, financing, and sales. Douglas Rey, Broker/Owner of Century 21 Aruba, was raised in Aruba since he was 2 years old and considers himself a native of the island of Aruba. After studying International Business and Management Studies in the Netherlands, he returned to Aruba in 2013 and has been in the sales industry ever since. Beginning with vacation ownership sales, he progressed to property condominium sales in 2018 and is now a full-time realtor with the Century 21 team in Aruba. He specializes in all aspects of local real estate sales and commercial rentals. With a passion for service, Douglas is ready to help with your home buying and selling needs.
Rene van der Spaan
Senior Sales Associate
Rene van der Spaan, Senior Sales Associate, studied real estate in the Netherlands before moving to Curaçao in 1992 to work as a realtor at Joubert Realty / Rapid NV. He relocated from Curaçao to Aruba in 1996 to market and sell 150 homes for the "Residencia San Barbola" project. In 1999, he founded Best Properties, which later merged with Solid Real Estate to form Best & Solid Realty Group. After a few years, he was awarded the Century 21 franchise rights for Aruba, which he has now sold. His areas of expertise include local real estate knowledge and commercial real estate in Aruba.
Rebeca Aparicio

Rebeca Aparicio, Office Coordinator, originally from Venezuela, but has spent her entire life on the enchanting island of Aruba. After gaining five years of experience as a Store Manager in the retail industry, she decided it was time for a career shift and found her calling in the real estate sector with Century 21 Aruba. Rebeca is a highly motivated individual, always eager to embrace new challenges and continuously expand her knowledge. Taís Schimmel, Marketing Coordinator, was born and raised on the beautiful island of Aruba. She graduated in the Netherlands with a degree in International Business & Languages with a minor in marketing. She then returned to Aruba to join and strengthen the Century 21 Aruba team with her experience and knowledge in the marketing area. She speaks 5 languages and was raised in a multicultural environment, which provided her with intercultural competence skills. She recognizes that the key to the workability to any professional relationship lies in clear communication, honesty, and hard work.
Rebecca Naddall

Rebecca Naddall is an Island Girl with a love for Cities. She was born and raised on the beautiful island of Aruba and lived in the neighborhood of San Nicolas until she left to study in the Netherlands. She graduated in the Netherlands with a degree in Leisure Management with a minor in Marketing, PR and Events. After her studies she returned to Aruba in 2010 where she worked in different industries from Bank to the beverage and entertainment industry. In 2019 Rebecca switched her role again from marketing to sales, where she started working in the real estate industry for one of the condominium developers on the island. Rebecca is passionate about everything she does, she is honest, has integrity, values each client’s needs and wishes. She is ready to assist you in all your real estate endeavors, whether it’s purchasing of your new home or vacation home or selling of your property.
Shary Celaire

Shary Celaire, Rental/Sales associate, grew up on the beautiful island of Aruba. She resided in the Netherlands for 11 years and has a background in Social Work with a minor in Mental Health. She returned to Aruba in 2019 and discovered a new passion in life. Shary has always worked in an international environment with clients from all over the world, therefore she has a wealth of understanding about many cultures. She speaks 4 languages (Dutch English, Spanish, Papiamento) and enjoys communicating with others. Shary will go the extra mile to give exceptional service to our clients.

Miriam Engeln, Sales Associate, was born and raised in the Netherlands. She has worked in real estate in Spain, Europe, Belize, and Central America as a sales agent since 2007. Miriam has purchased, constructed, sold, rented, and even flipped properties.
